Here, for sale is my 2003MY Audi Allroad Quattro 2.5 V6 tdi. Purchased new on 09/09/02 by Lady Alexandra Elletson

of Marlborough. Factory optioned with rare cloth trim and adjustable heated front and rear seats, it also has the

rare 6 speed maunal gearbox, Audi Symphony 2 multi CD and cassette stereo.

It is finished in Audi two tone color combination - 5B7F Light Silver Metallic 5B5B, dark grey bumpers and arches

LY7W, with N7Z cloth trim, The roof is the standard Allroad Satin Matt dark grey with dark grey roof rails. No

sunroof fitted, a rare option, and one I was happy not to have, as it is a cause of leaks.(and module failure) It

took me a lot of searching to find the optioned car i wanted, no sunroof, 2 tone paint, 6 speed, heated cloth seats

and full service history, quite a rare combination to find second hand

All tyres are good with plenty of tread, all alloys are very good for the age, and has the factory space saver and

tool kit in the under boot storage. The cloth cheque pattern is in good condition with 2 small cigar burns, and the

carpets are as new due to mats being used. The rear carpeted boot space is also very clean and tidy.

Exterior paint is good, with a few marks, scratches as expected of age. The paint has a great shine, as it has been

washed, clay barred, de-contaminated, and polished regularly with Collinite Marque D'Elegance Caranuaba Wax, and

has amazing water beading, and lasts for months and months at a time. Under wheel arches are clean, and are

pressure washed and kept clean every time.

Engine is the AKE 2.5 V6 tdi with 180bhp, with the 6 speed FTH manual transmission, and has the factory 4 corner

air suspension for rough road design. The driver and passenger seats are electrically adjustable. Radio controlled

remote central locking, driver, passenger and side airbags, factory built in retractable dog guard and boot area

cover. Leather

trimmed steering wheel and gearshift surround. Front and rear electric windows, electrically adjustable and heated

door mirrors. Multi function display, on board computer with check control for oil, fluids, lights etc. All pixels

fine on DIS and without fault.

It has 4 previous owners, and has a fully stamped service book with 12 stamps up to current date. Last service was

done in my possession at 160300k 6 months ago, with only 1000 mile done since last service, current mileage at

161377. The V5 is my name, and both keys are present, along with the full service stamped booklet and all owner

manuals in the original leather bound Audi handbook. The vehicle was a part exchange at Audi Exeter, and purchased

by a trader who sold it on to me. It was a local car to me for the last few years, and the previous owner has spent

a not inconsiderable amount over the years he had it before buying a new Audi.

My partner has now passed her test (at 40!) and feels the car is too big for her, hence my reluctant sale to

purchase a smaller car. I already have a T5 and a work van, so dont need any more vehicles, otherwise i would keep

it, as i have spent a lot since i purchased it, as it was my intention to keep it for many years, to this end, i

had both front and rear discs and pads replaced, both front wheel bearings and hubs, rear caliper Dec 15, and full

engine and fuel system Terraclean Feb 16 £290. The battery has recently been changed by the previous owner, and is

heavy duty Bosch one. All 5 glowplugs have been replaced, and the car starts perfect hot or cold in any weathers.

The cambelt was changed at 89312 miles.

The work done for the last MOT in Dec 16 was 2 new brake flexi's - and other work at my request totalling £168. In

June 16 the washer pump, wishbone, tie rod end, puncture repair, along with the oil filer, engine oil, fuel, air

and pollen filters £294 Headlights restored in March 16 along with upgraded Osram Nightbreaker bulbs £65

There is a massive history folder of work carried out by myself and previous owners, the air suspension front and

rear air bags and compressor in Sept 14 at a cost of over £2500 which will give the new owner many trouble free

years of use

Very smooth ride on the air adjustable suspension, with 4 positions and off road high setting. Fully automatic load

sensitive suspension, perfect for towing, and as such has been fitted with a towbar by the previous owner at a cost

of £660 - but would appear to be never or hardly used. The air suspension sensors also include automatic headlight

height adjustment.

The extent of new parts coupled with the full service history and low owners is the main reasoning for my initial

purchase. It's a sizeable estate car with proven and reliable permanant Quattro all wheel drive system, (not part

time Haldex) and has ESP, traction control, ABS etc

The engine, suspension etc is perfect without faults, quiet and powerful and pulls hard to the redline without

hesitation. No errors displayed on dash, air bags, suspension ABS, traction, ESP etc all in correct working order.

Very quiet drive, no bangs, knocks from the suspension

So thats the good points, the negative areas are the bumpers which are scuffed, and the air con, which doesnt work,

a small fix i understand, as my mechanic has had the air con running perfect when bypassed, though not

automatically, it may be just a wire fault he thinks, as it works and is holding pressure. It hasn't bothered me,

so was on my long term list to address in the future.

  • We always say an allroad is more part of the family than average cars. I hope the right people come along, if these you have thinking are not allroaders after all :)

  • Well, they weren't from a audi group, but they both knew off the car, and it's what they wanted... Timewasters
