The whole brake system has been upgraded to the MK1 Leon Cupra R system Brembo Four Pot Caliper front and rear. 323mm front discs and 256mm at rear. I bought the full system off a guy breaking his LCR and had the calipers refurbished with new carriers, bleed nipples, slider pins etc by brake caliper specialists in this stunning Cadburys purple with custom Cadburys logo painted on this isn't a decal for abit of fun and different from the usual brembo decal. The discs have also been upgraded to Tarox G88 front and rear with Feroddo DS2500 pads with custom braided brakes with upgraded DOT 5 racing pagid blue stuff brake fluid. The calipers have been ceramic coated so the brake dust comes off easily.

Bad Points:

As car is 8 and half year old so has few stone chips .Two of the team Dynamics wheels could do with a refurb.

I have had the torque held back with the remap time avoid clutch slip and deterioration of gearbox life. The clutch have never slipped and Gearbox has no clunk's and shifts fine but I get the gearbox fliud changed with every service.

If the next owner wishes to raise the torque this do able but I would recommend getting an uprated clutch. I would say it's the only modification I haven't done but one for the next owner. As you can see this car isn't far away from being a track toy but also something that can used for everyday and not cost a fortune. Car comes with standard space saver. I am in no rush to sell the car and will break the car if needed.

  • What sort of times were you doing round knockhill in this

  • Never ran any timed laps so not sure, here is video of it at knockhill at the monster unit tracknight. The car can be alot quicker with a better driver

  • How much dyno test cost? Sorry for asking for different thing

  • Dyno was done when the car was remapped but I would imagine the going rate is about £40 - £50
